So,some promoters nearby were staring at me like I was stealing their customers liddat. And I was mistaken for a malay twice today!!!
First time,a promoter asked. 'Hi,you promoting ah?'
Me: Ya.
Promoter: You malay,right?
Me: Huh,no. I chinese.
Promoter: Oh,your skin tone,I thought you malay.
So far,she's one of the friendliest there. Compared to the aunty promoters who laughed and gossiped like nobody's business and stare at me like whatever shit.
Then, a customer asked: Er,you hui hua yu? (Know chinese)
Me: Wo hui jiang hua yu.
Customer: (Shocked face) Wo yi wei ni shi ma lai ren. (Laughs)
Afterall,I still prefer working in Taka even though it further away. But working there is fun,cos the Watsons is effing huge. Idk how it affects but it seems better. HAHAHAHA.
Ohyes,AKJZ is still @ Shanghai! She can't read blogs,go twitter,facebook,etc. So,only chat on msn. And it's 3-8degrees there. What I can say is I know how you feel ok! B'cuz when I was at Bangkok,no one told me we're going to some Snow World that day. So....
Extremely huge windbreaker/jacket which totally covered my shorts. And I nearly died of freezing in there. Also,I got weird stares again. Pfft.
